Product Design Engineer | Full-Time

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 1-2 years’ work experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling using Fusion 360 and expertise in rendering software such as KeyShot, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
• Strong understanding of material selection, CMF design, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Product Design Engineer leads the design and development of new products, from initial concept through to final production. This role requires a blend of creativity, engineering expertise, and visual communication skills to bring innovative products to life. The Product Design Engineer works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility, manufacturability, and visual alignment of products with the company's brand. Additionally, the Product Design Engineer focuses on enhancing the overall customer experience by designing intuitive and user-friendly products and packaging.

Product Concept Development:

• Generate innovative product concepts based on market research findings.
• Collaborate with the Creative Team to align product designs with the company’s visual identity.

3D and CAD Modelling:

• Create detailed 3D models and CAD drawings of products.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet functional requirements.

Material Selection and CMF Design:

• Select appropriate materials for product design.
• Develop CMF (Color, Material, Finish) specifications to ensure aesthetic and functional quality.
• Work with the Product Team to ensure material quality.

Product Packaging Design:

• Design functional and attractive packaging solutions.
• Ensure packaging meets all regulatory requirements and brand standards.

Product Customer Experience:

• Design products and packaging to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Ensure that both the product and its packaging are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s brand identity.
• Gather customer feedback to refine and improve product and packaging designs.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the UI/UX Design Team to ensure product designs complement user interfaces and overall user experience.
• Coordinate with the Creative Team to ensure brand consistency across all product designs.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest design tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and product quality.
