Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, particularly in R&D-driven or technology-focused roles.
  • Experience working directly with R&D teams to commercialize products.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of advanced computing technologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in project management and product development processes.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and building business cases.

Language Requirements

  • English (fluent written and verbal) – Mandatory

Job Description​

To bridge the gap between the R&D department and the commercial market by ensuring that innovative, advanced computing products and solutions are market-ready. This role focuses on managing the lifecycle of emerging technologies from concept to commercialization, aligning technical innovation with market needs.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Technology and Product Development:

Collaboration with R&D:

  • Work closely with the Technology (R&D) department to understand the development of advanced computing solutions.
  • Provide input on product features, specifications, and design based on market trends and customer feedback.


Product Readiness:

  • Evaluate the commercial viability of prototypes and ensure they meet market and business requirements.
  • Develop and manage go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate pilot programs and testing phases to validate product performance.


Technology Roadmap:

  • Define and maintain a roadmap for emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development or enhancements to existing solutions.


Market and Business Alignment:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build business cases for new technologies, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary interface between the R&D department, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Ensure alignment across departments for successful product launches and lifecycle management. 


Compliance and Standards:

  • Work with regulatory teams to ensure that all products meet compliance and certification requirements.
  • Monitor industry standards and ensure alignment with emerging technologies.


Post-Launch and Continuous Improvement: 

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track the performance of launched products in the market, using metrics such as customer adoption, revenue, and feedback.
  • Drive continuous improvement by collecting insights and relaying them to the R&D team for iterative development. 


Customer and Partner Interaction:

  • Collaborate with customers and partners to understand their evolving needs and ensure product relevance. 
  • Support the sales team with technical expertise during client engagements.
