His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq – May God protect him – ordered providing laptop devices for all newly enrolled students from social security and low-income families in the higher education institutions within the academic year of 20th of February 2020.

Onsor Technologies was honored to have gained the trust of His Majesty in providing 600 devices from the Royal Grant to be distributed amongst them.

We will support it by all means necessary as it is the foundation that would enable our children for what’s coming next,” His Majesty, Al Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said.

From His Majesty’s speech, vision and generosity to drive young Omanis capabilities in digital, technological and educational fields to ensure that they are always keeping up with the pace during these sensitive times with COVID-19.

Onsor Technologies began distributing laptops as per the Royal Grant on Sunday, 28th of March in 2021 until Thursday, 1st of April 2021 in Sultan Qaboos University.

Onsor Technologies is a young Omani company, established with national competencies, and it is the first company in the Sultanate of Oman and the region to specialize in and manufacture a 2-in-1 laptop computer with local and international standards, so the computer can be used as a tablet or an ordinary computer.
