On the first of October 2020, Maadh Al Hinaai, Onsor Technologies CEO and Yazin Al Musafir, Onsor Technologies COO and partner launched the first locally designed laptop in the region; 2 in 1 laptop the O50.
It launched in accordance with the Sultanate of Oman’s 50th National day and was named in conformity with it and with the letter “O,” as it is derived from Oman.
The O50 was specifically designed with various processors such as intel i7, intel i5, intel i3, Pentium and Celeron. Taking into consideration all age categories ensuring it is suitable for them. Its most prominent features are that it is equipped with an ID card reader to ease the process of governmental processes and has a 360-degree folding screen, whereas it could be used as either a tablet, or a normal laptop.
Another distinctive detail within its exterior is represented by oriental inscriptions and motifs, in addition to that the O50’s keyboard contains Arabic letters a different font from what the normal user is used to, as the structure was designed by the engineer Hamza Al-Nu’mani.
