Early in February 2021 Her Highness, Al Sayyida Mayyan Bint Shihab Al Said started an initiative “Fragments of Fiction – Shathaya Mn Al Khayal,” in partnership with Al Rahma Association. Whereas she displayed 30 of her artistic photographs in the Mall of Muscat. Each photograph with its title and concept behind it up for auction through the social platform, Instagram. To which the profit goes to support children’s education – Through the purchase of laptops from Onsor Technologies.

By the end of the 5-minutes long e-auction, Her Highness, Al Sayyida Mayyan Al Said donated 500 devices from Onsor Technologies for children in need – enabling them to continue their education virtually.

“By providing devices to students in their homes it enables them to continue their education virtually through various platforms. Students were happy as it would greatly contribute to their educational journey,” Hind Al Jabriyya, a Biology Teacher in Ruwi’s School for Girls.

“We are grateful to Her Highness Al Sayyida Mayyan Al Said and Al Rahma Association for this initiative and providing students with devices that connect them to today’s e-learning journey.
